Govardhan Puja, or Annakuta, is a festival celebrating the pastime of Lord Krishna lifting Govardhan Hill on His little finger and holding it aloft for seven days to protect the residents of Vrindavan from torrential rains sent by Indra. Please join us in this celebration! A small replica of the Hill made from sweets and other edibles will be offered to the Lord in the temple, and after an ecstatic kirtan and circumambulation the remnants will be distributed to everyone.
