The festival for Balarama’s divine appearance day will be held at the temple and will begin at 5:00 pm with warm-up kirtans. Lord Balarama is the first expansion of Lord Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. All other incarnations expand from Balarama. In Lord Krishna’s earthly pastimes He plays the role of Krishna’s older brother. Together Krishna and Balarama enjoy many pastimes as cowherd boys in the land of Vrndavana. Balarama is very merciful. In fact, in His incarnation as Lord Nityananda in Caitanya-lila, He is considered the most merciful incarnation of all. So take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to soak up the mercy of Lord Balarama by joining us at this important and joyful festival.
